چکیده
Aims To evaluate the influence of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) on perinatal outcomes twin pregnancies and its impact fetal growth profiles offspring from 6 weeks to 12 months corrected age. Methods A longitudinal cohort study was conducted among pregnant women with twins their offspring. All information child trajectories age were obtained analyzed using a general linear model logistic regression models. Results GDM not correlated adverse pregnancies; however, in monochorionic diamniotic (MCDA), but dichorionic (DCDA) pregnancies, hypertension disorder fetus being small for (OR, 2.68; 95% CI 1.16–6.04 OR, 0.35; 0.16–0.76, respectively). In both MCDA DCDA groups, positively associated higher risk childhood overweight at (2.32 [1.05, 5.09] 2.00 [1.13, 3.53]). Conclusions had greater terms maternal disease newborns. Additionally, exposed irrespective chorionicity. Clinical Trial Registration: ChiCTR-OOC-16008203.

Perinatal Outcome in Twin Pregnancies Complicated by Gestational Diabetes Mellitus: A Comparative Study
The purpose of this study is to compare perinatal outcomes of twin pregnancies complicated by gestational diabetes (GDM) with those unaffected by GDM. A total of 1,154 twin pregnancies who delivered at Cheil General Hospital, between January 1998 and December 2002 were recruited to participate in a retrospective analysis. Out of these twin pregnancies, 37 women were had GDM. Four pregnancies ex...
متن کاملPlacental Lipases in Pregnancies Complicated by Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM)
Infants of women with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) are more likely to be born large for gestational age with a higher percentage body fat. Elevated maternal lipids may contribute to this. Placental lipases such as lipoprotein lipase (LPL), endothelial lipase (EL) and hormone sensitive lipase (HSL) are involved in transferring lipids from mother to fetus. Previous studies of expression of...

متن کاملInsulin-Like Growth Factor Axis and Gestational Diabetes Mellitus: A Longitudinal Study in a Multiracial Cohort
The insulin-like growth factor (IGF) axis may be implicated in glucose homeostasis, but its longitudinal profile across gestation in relation to the development of gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is largely unknown. We prospectively investigated IGF axis biomarkers in early-to-midpregnancy in relation to subsequent GDM risk in a case-control study of 107 case subjects with GDM and 214 contr...
